Naming Conventions

  • All Item names are case insensitive and restricted with length of 8 characters. Only English letters and numbers allowed. Name must start with a letter.

    Examples: x1, myvar3, c0nd7

MyVar and myvar will be treated as same name.

  • Numbers within a formula are recognized with both scientific and regular notation. Fractional part separated by dot ('.'). Plus '+' sign for scientific notation may be skipped.

    Examples: 2; 3.147; 7.24e-15; -3.22e10; 3e+3

  • Spaces are ignored and throw out on parsing.
  • Equal operation is converted to comparison of absolute value of difference between two expressions with estimate, defined for the engine, i.e.if |x1-x2| < estimate then the operation is treated as equal. Value for estimate is determined on engine level.
  • Trigonometric functions supports Radian, Degree and Gradian calculations. The type is determined on engine level.
  • Comparison types are Less, Equal, Greater, GreaterEqual, LessEqual and NotEqual. Symbolic presentations such as '>', '<', '=>', '<=', '=', '==', '<>', '!=' are also available.
